We crossed paths so many times over the years—same spaces, same circles—but never really met. Looking back, we believe it was God’s way of saying, “Not yet. The time will come.” And that time finally came in 2015.
From the moment we connected, it felt like something we’d both been waiting for. Our bond was instant and real. We even handled a period of long distance early on, but even that couldn’t shake what we had. It only proved that our connection ran deeper than convenience—it was love.
When we came together, we each brought a son into the relationship. And rather than divide us, it made our love stronger. We blended our families, our hearts, and our worlds. Then, in 2018, God blessed us with our daughter—the perfect symbol of everything we had built together.
That same year, we decided to get married. We didn’t have a big wedding, no big venue or crowd—just us, our boys, and a close family friend as our witness. A simple courthouse ceremony that held more meaning than words could ever explain. It was intimate, honest, and uniquely ours.
Like every couple, we’ve had our fair share of challenges. We’ve faced obstacles and celebrated victories, but one thing has always remained true: we never gave up on each other. We’ve learned to love deeper, to forgive quicker, and to appreciate each other more with every passing year.
The turning point in our marriage came when we truly invited God into our union. Letting Him guide us changed everything. It reshaped the way we love, communicate, and support one another. He became the center of our relationship, and from that moment on, our love grew stronger than ever.
Now, eight years later, we feel like we’re in a whole new chapter. Our love feels refreshed—renewed. That’s why we’re here, celebrating not just our anniversary, but our journey. With our family and friends by our side this time, we’re saying “I do” all over again—with more gratitude, more grace, and even more love than before.
We are the definition of:
“What God has joined together, let no man separate.”
